About Concord

Blue Ridge is located in the heart of Historic Downtown Concord. One of the most noticeable assets to our area is the preservation of the downtown business district. Boasting an assortment of antique shops, art galleries, clothing boutiques, historic antebellum mansions and trendy restaurants, Historic Concord, is continuing its resurgence. Located within just a few blocks of Blue Ridge, visitors will find authentic Italian cuisine at Gianni’s Trattoria, decedent chocolates handcrafted at the Chocolatier Barrucand and unique jewelry creations at The Bead Lady.

Concord also features two shopping malls. Carolina Mall is at the gateway to Historic Concord on nearby Highway 29. The center features specialty stores, a food court, and a cinema. Concord Mills Mall is 12 miles from Blue Ridge and features over 200 outlet and specialty stores, entertainment venues, a 24-screen cinema with IMAX and a large food court. Concord Mills is the number one tourist attraction in North Carolina and is surrounded by most national chain restaurants and large national retailers.
