| Using Kinesiology, the therapist locates and holds various points while the client moves through preset range of motion exercises releasing stiffness, increasing range of motion and reducing pain. With the client in control of their movements it allows them to also control the amount of discomfort that can be associated with stiffness and joint pain. This class is offered two times this year. |
| Instructor Chris Pardue LMBT |
Chris Pardue, LMBT began his massage career in 1993. In 1995 he worked with the steering committee that passed the legislation to make Massage Therapy a licensed profession in North Carolina. He joined Hospice of Davidson County in 1996 and now sits on their Board of Directors. He was an EMT for 21 years and now splits his time between working in his full time practice, teaching as a faculty instructor at Blue Ridge Healing Arts Academy, and teaching as a Continuing Education provider for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He enjoys living on the lake and boating in his free time. |
