| Masstretch is workshop designed to integrate stretching and massage. Participants will learn various techniques designed to stretch muscle groups as well as individual muscles. Using strain/counter-strain, isolated stretching and massage, the participant can use this work to address many performance related issues involved with today's athletes or every day clients. It is also helpful in augmenting your other massage modalities. |
| Instructor Chris Pardue LMBT |
Chris Pardue, LMBT began his massage career in 1993. In 1995 he worked with the steering committee that passed the legislation to make Massage Therapy a licensed profession in North Carolina. He joined Hospice of Davidson County in 1996 and now sits on their Board of Directors. He was an EMT for 21 years and now splits his time between working in his full time practice, teaching as a faculty instructor at Blue Ridge Healing Arts Academy, and teaching as a Continuing Education provider for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He enjoys living on the lake and boating in his free time. |
