Rene' Shuford,LMBT #357 - Director
Rene' Rene Shuford, LMBT is the owner and director of Blue Ridge Healing Arts Academy. She is involved in developing workshops and curriculums that will bring quality and high standards to the massage therapy industry. Her first love is teaching with an emphasis on helping other teachers bring quality to the classroom setting. She loves to attend community service functions in her area, travel and garden. Rene' also maintains a private practice where her primary work is LaStone Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage and Energy work.
Frankie Tucker, LMBT #3317 - Therapist
Frankie is a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist and member of ABMP. Before establishing himself as a massage therapist, Frankie had a 25-year career as a master carpenter and licensed general contractor. After graduation from Blue Ridge Healing Arts Academy in 2001, Frankie became certified in LaStone Therapy, Reflexology, Thermal Stone Therapy and Facelift Massage. Frankie developed the Gentle Waves Face Therapy workshop after seeing the effects facial massage had on his clients and realizing how few massage classes had anything but a few standard strokes for the face and head. Dionna Milem, Doctor of Naturopathy - Therapist
Dionna Dionna Milem has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UNCC & worked as an engineer for almost 15 years. She completed her Natural Health Professionals certification in 2002, and she now sponsors classes in Charlotte for CNHP. Dionna received her doctorate of naturopathy in January 2006 from Trinity College of Natural Health. She enjoys learning and continues to take classes as often as possible.
Margaret Evans, LMBT# 5062 - Therapist
Margaret Margaret is a nationally certified and licensed massage and bodywork therapist and a graduate of Blue Ridge Healing Arts Academy in Concord, NC. She is also an instructor of Integrated Reflexology. In her private practice she specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Thai Bodywork, Thermal Stone therapy, Pre- and Peri-natal Massage and Reiki.
